NON EMERGENCY "On January 4, 2011, two live Green Sea Turtles were retrieved from the plant's intake canal.

Injuries were determined not to be causal to plant operation. The turtles are to be released after further consultation with FWCC.

"Per the plant's turtle permit, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC) was notified at 1207 EST. This non-emergency notification is being made pursuant to 10CFR50.72(b)(2)(xi) due to the notification of the FWCC."

The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector. Notified both R2DO (Bartley) and Endangered Spiecies Group via E-mail.
