OF TELEPHONE CONFERENCE CALL HELD ON DECEMBER 1, 2010, BETWEEN THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION STAFF AND U.S. DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY REPRESENTATIVES CONCERNING REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THE DRAFT WASTE DETERMINATION AND RELATED PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT RELATED TO THE CLOSURE OF THE F AREA TANK FARM On December 1, 2010, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), held a telephone conference call to discuss, in general terms, the NRC staff requests for additional information (RAIs) due to be formally submitted to DOE on December 3, 2010.

The conference call was used by NRC staff to give DOE staff and its contractors a sense of the types of requests that would be forthcoming and the reasons that NRC staff considered the requested information necessary and relevant to its understanding of the performance of the F Tank Farm and future NRC activities related to consultation and monitoring of the site. A follow-up teleconference was scheduled for December 14, 2010, in order to provide for a more detailed exchange based on DOE receipt and assessment of the RAI package.

The enclosure provides a listing of the telephone conference participants.
