ANNUAL REPORT TO NIST ON USE OF GOVERNMENT-UNIQUE AND VOLUNTARY CONSENSUS STANDARDS IN FY 2010 The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has submitted the fiscal year (FY) 2010 annual report on NRC use of Government-unique standards and voluntary consensus standards to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This memorandum confirms transmission of the annual report to NIST in advance of its deadline of December 31, 2010 (WITS 199800149).
The report documents our compliance with the National Technology Transfer and Advancement Act of 1995 (NTTAA) as detailed in Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-119.
NIST will compile information submitted by individual Federal agencies into a single report to OMB. The staff entered the NRC report at the NIST NTTAA Web site (http://standards.gov/NTTAA/agency/index.cfm) as directed by NIST. For your information, I have enclosed a copy of the information request from NIST and a copy of the NRC report.
