- NON EMERGENCY "On October 27 2010, one injured Loggerhead Sea Turtle was retrieved from the plants intake canal. Injuries were determined not to be causal to plant operation.
The turtle will be sent to rehab facility.
"Per the plants turtle permit, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC) was notified at 1545 EDT. This non-emergency notification is being made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi) due to the notification of the FWCC."
The licensee informed the NRC Resident Inspector.
