- Art, I discussed the outstanding items with Howard Berrick last Friday.
I have not received the Unit 2 AFW operability determination addressing structural integrity. Howard said they were working on it and he would email it to me when it was approved. If I receive it, I will forward a copy to everyone on this email.
About mid-week (last week) I received several documents addressing my outstanding questions about the new coating cure time, the original coating and the basis of the 1950 psi design pressure. After reviewing what he sent, I called and gave him some additional questions about the coating cure process and the new coating life.
No records have been located which can confirm that Ul or U2 were actually coated.
Nothing new was received on the design pressure issue.
Howard said they were working on both the Eq. ACE for the corrosion (due 6/2) and on the cause for the missed pressure tests (due 6/28), and that he would forward by email further information as he received it from Engineering.
