Unit 2 - Work Scope - 4/22/10 Gentlemen, Here is what is happening in Unit 2 today on AFW:
(1) "room to nowhere" digging is in progress on the AFW piping. They are planning to dig up only the #24 (upper) and #22 (lower) horizontal runs and the first elbow on each header. They are NOT digging all the way down to the lower elbows before the lower horizontal runs.
(2) I've talked to several people today and there are no planned excavations in the yard outside the Unit 2 containment. I've been past there just recently and there are no excavations going on.
