The EQACE for Unit 1 AFW Piping will be complete and ready for MRC presentation on 06/08/10 [an extension to 6/8 was approved by MRC this week]. The EQACE is on track for 6/8 to present to MRC for review / approval.

FW: NRC Inspector Questions AFW Buried Pipe Importance: High Tim, Attached is the evaluation for the Enercon coating. Itwas accomplished in work order 60084266, SIAF System Buried Pipe Inspection.

This evaluation will be part of an upcoming revision to the DCP.

q With respect to the basis for the response "The original coating was good for life of plant", we have no supporting documentation that would lead us to believe it was anything less than the life of the plant. I don't think we will be able provide any additional basis. I will check again with our Engineering department.
