TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE REQUEST - REVIEW OF PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE COOPER POWER STATION PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN (TAC NO. L24478)
The Division of Spent Fuel Storage and Transportation (SFST), Office of Nuclear Material Safety and Safeguards (NMSS), requests technical assistance from the Division of Security Policy (DSP), Nuclear Security and Incident Response (NSIR), for the completion of the following project:
PROJECT: Review Nebraska Public Power Districts (NPPD) response to Order (EA 195) and the Cooper Power Station Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI)
Physical Security Plan and verify implementation of the additional security measures.
DOCKET NO: 50-298, 72-66 TAC NO: L24478 REQUESTED ACTION: NMSS/SFST requests that NSIR/DSP review NPPDs response to the Security Order and the Cooper Power Station ISFSI Physical Security Plan. Prepare a memorandum documenting the results of NSIRs review.
