NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC ) Docket No. 50-443-LR (Seabrook Station) )

____________________________________)

ORDER Before the Commission are two additional requests for an extension of time in which to file a Petition to Intervene and Request for Hearing in the Seabrook Station Operating License Renewal Proceeding. The two requests were submitted by the New Hampshire Sierra Club and the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League. Both requests seek the same extension of time granted to the State of New Hampshire and two other groups by my Order on September 17, 2010. The licensee has responded in opposition to both requests. The NRC Staff has not responded.

I hereby grant both the New Hampshire Sierra Club and the Seacoast Anti-Pollution League an extension of 30 days (until October 20, 2010) in which to file a Petition to Intervene and Request for Hearing. Furthermore, any petition to intervene filed in this proceeding prior to October 20, 2010, shall be considered to have been filed on that date for purposes of calculating the time by which the NRC Staff and the Licensee must file their Answers.

This Order is issued under my authority under 10 C.F.R. §§ 2.346(a) and (b).

IT IS SO ORDERED.

For the Commission (NRC SEAL) /RA/
