RE: response to request for ESA species list Thanks, Dan. I appreciate the advance copy, and I'm glad you could make it to our site audit in April. I look forward to hearing from Bryant's group in the near future.

Bryant - please feel call either Dennis (301-415-0490) or me (301-415-4006) if there's anything we can provide for you, or if there's anything you'd like to discuss.

Best regards, Drew Drew Stuyvenberg U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission 301-415-4006 Andrew.Stuyvenberg@nrc.gov

response to request for ESA species list Hello gentlemen, Attached is a letter that should be heading your way today in regards to the request for a list of ESA species under the protection of NMFS that may be in the vicinity of Diablo Canyon Power Plant. Please take a look and feel free to contact me if there are any questions or need for clarification.

Also, I've copied in Bryant Chesney from our Habitat Conservation Division in Long Beach, who is the contact for Essential Fish Habitat issues for this project. I thought it would be easiest to connect you this way so you could talk about any of those issues if needed.

Bryant - Dennis Logan is the biologist handling the marine issues for the NRC relicensing application, and Andrew Stuyvenberg is the overall project manager.

Typically, we try to coordinate our comments and letters (Protected Resources and Habitat Conservation) into one document when we can, but I thought it would be best to go ahead and provide the ESA species list so you could go ahead and move forward with the section 7 process. Just let me know how I can be of assistance.

Dan
