PUBLIC SEISMIC WORKSHOP DATE & TIME: Wednesday, September 8, 2010 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PST); and Thursday, September 9, 2010 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (PST)

LOCATION: Embassy Suites 333 Madonna Road San Luis Obispo, CA 93405 PURPOSE: To provide a forum for members of the public to gain a basic knowledge of seismic hazard and its applications for the safe operation of commercial nuclear plants, including specific discussions of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.

CATEGORY 3: This is a Category 3 Meeting. The public is invited to participate in this meeting by providing comments and asking questions throughout the meeting.

The NRC intends to record this workshop, and make it available by link on the public website.
