NRC Letter to Entergy, "Request for Additional Information Regarding Amendment Application for Diesel Generator Air Start Receiver Pressures (TAC Nos. ME2734 and ME 2735)," dated May 4, 2010.

Dear Sir or Madam:

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc, (Entergy) requested a License Amendment to Operating License DPR-26, Docket No. 50-247 for Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit No. 2 (IP2) and Operating License DPR-64, Docket No. 50-286 for Indian Point Nuclear Generating Unit No. 3 (1P3) in Reference 1. Entergy is requesting the withdrawal of this proposed amendment. In reference 2 the NRC requested additional information from Entergy to support your continued review. Entergy is unable to meet the requested response date of this request and will need to collect and analyze additional test data. Once this additional test data is collected and analyzed, Entergy will be in a position to resubmit this amendment with the needed information.
