Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated November 19, 2009 (non-publicly available), as supplemented by letter dated December 9, 2009 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS)
Accession No. ML093480161), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy), applied for an amendment to the River Bend Station, Unit 1 (RBS) Facility Operating License No. NPF-47.
The license amendment request included the Cyber Security Plan (CSP), proposed changes to the Facility Operating License, and a proposed CSP implementation schedule for RBS. The proposed CSP was submitted in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 73.54, "Protection of digital computer and communication systems and networks."
Subsequently, by letter dated July 22,2010 (ADAMS Accession No. ML102080483), Entergy withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the application dated November 19, 2009, as supplemented by letter dated December 9,2009, is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
