- Duane, This email is a follow up to the phone conversations that occurred on Thursday, July 8th, with yourself and Jessie Quichocho, Research and Test Reactors Branch B Chief (NRC), and Charlie McKibben and myself (MURR), and on Wednesday, July 15th, between you and I. MURR will submit responses to approximately 50 out of the 167 questions (exact number unknown at this time as we still work on them) to the 45-day relicensing RAIs this Friday, July 16th. MURR requests a two phase extension on the remainder. We request that half of the remaining unanswered questions have a response date of August 31st and the remainder have a response date of September 30th. We also suggest that a site visit would be appropriate the week of August 23rd to discuss the answers to the next set of responses and to discuss any difficulties or questions we have answering the remainder.
