Simulator Scenario Outline Comments (7-13-10)
Comment Resolution Sc1 A) Event 5 should be split out. The component malfunction is a separate event.
B) Events 8 and 9 are not events (component malfunctions). They are actions required by SEE MARKUP pdf file.
Comments incorporated
OBDI 202 - IOLE Process procedure for the 2nd major event. One is a critical task. The other annotates the wrong generator.
C) Second critical task depends on break size. Need to maintain pressure above 945psig or this is no longer a CT.
Sc2 A) Post trip events are the same as scenario 2 on the 2009 exam as well as the initial conditions.
Swap out-of-service train and faulted EDG. Change the starting power.
B) Missing horizontal borders between events 2,3 and 4,5.
Did not use this in 2009.
Scenario OK as is.
Sc3 A) Change this to start at the critical hold (1E-8 [Westinghouse parlance]), and require rods to be bumped out to establish SUR and bring Rx to POAH; then hold at Mode 2 power.
B) Once there, fail a steam dump, TDAFWP or something to give a positive reactivity excursion, requiring action to prevent transition to Mode 1.
LOW POWER MODE 3 Events changed and comments incorporated Sc4 A) Can we let the condition in event 5 degrade until tripping the pump is required? After SPTA has been entered, initiate event 6.
B) Horizontal borders missing.
C) Remove Spare from Op-test number. We dont know the spare until after validation.
