SUBJECT:

LIMITED SENIOR REACTOR OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM INSPECTION FOR LIMERICK GENERATING STATION AND PEACH BOTTOM ATOMIC POWER STATION

Dear Mr. Pacillo:

In a meeting on July 7,2010, Mr. Corey Goff, Operations Training Manager, and Mr. Joseph D'Antonio, Senior Operations Engineer, made arrangements for the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to inspect the limited licensed operator requalification program of the Limerick and Peach Bottom facilities. The inspection is planned for the week of August 2, 2010, at the Limerick site. Per this discussion, documentation for the Peach Bottom program as requested by Mr. D'Antonio will be delivered to Limerick for the inspection. The staff at your facility should prepare and conduct the requalification examinations in accordance with your NRC-approved requalification program.

In accordance with 10 CFR 55.59(c), the NRC may request facility licensees to submit their biennial comprehensive requalification written examinations or annual operating tests as necessary to support the NRC's inspection program needs. The NRC has not requested material for this inspection prior to the onsite inspection week.
