Dear Mr. Allen:

This letter confirms our plans, as discussed between members of our staffs, to discuss the 2009 end-of-cycle plant performance assessment of Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 29, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. (EDT), at the Davis-Besse Energy Education Center, located at the Davis-Besse site, Oak Harbor, Ohio. The meeting is open to the public. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
