Tritiated subsurface water is migrating via a french drain to the Altamaha River. The licensee has obtained a permit for the water being released at the french drain release point and is in compliance with the release permit.

Farley:

One on site well (SE corner of the protected area, by the RWST) has shown trace amounts of Tritium (-1000 pCi much less than 20,000 pCi limit). Believed to have been caused by a surface spill some years ago (15-20).

Vogtle:

No tritium issues.
