NRC STAFFS JULY 2010 UPDATE REGARDING THE SCHEDULE FOR REVIEW OF THE WATTS BAR UNIT 2 OPERATING LICENSE APPLICATION The Staff of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Staff) hereby provides the information requested by the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board (Board) in its May 26, 2010 Scheduling Order (Order). In the Order, the Board instructed the Staff to submit a report on July 2, 2010, regarding its estimates of the dates on which the Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) and the Final Safety Evaluation Report (FSER) will be issued.

In accordance with the Boards Order, the Staff hereby revises its previous projection of the FSER and FEIS publication dates. The Staff currently anticipates that the FEIS and the FSER will be issued in June 2011.
