Salem Generating Station Unit 2 Docket No. 50-311 License Amendment Request S 10-03 License Amendment Request One-Time On-Line Safety Related Battery Replacement PSEG Nuclear LLC submitted the proposed change to the Salem Unit 2 Technical Specifications by letter to the NRC dated March 29, 2010.
This amendment proposes changes to Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements (TSSR) to allow a one-time replacement of the Unit 2 2C 125VDC battery while at power. Specifically, TSSR 4,8.2.3.2'f.andg would be revised, on a one-time basis, to permit battery testing in a non-shutdown condition.
