Hope Creek Generating Station (HCGS), Docket No. 50-354, License Amendment Request (LAR) H09-03 PSEG Nuclear LLC (PSEG) submitted the subject amendment request to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) on September.9, 2009. The proposed amendment would revise the Technical Specifications (TS) frequency for testing control rod movement and would clarify the requirement to fully insert control rods under specific circumstances.
K The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Bureau of Nuclear Engineering (NJ BNE),reviewed the request in accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 50.91 (b). We have no comments.
