PUBLIC MEETING/OPEN HOUSE TO REVIEW 2009 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT FOR MONTICELLO NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT
Dear Mr. OConnor:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house on Tuesday, July 13, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., at the Monticello Community Center, Bridge Room, 505 Walnut Street, Monticello, Minnesota.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum to discuss the Agencys annual assessment of Monticello Nuclear Generating Plant. The NRC will be available to answer questions from the public regarding plant performance, as well as the Agencys oversight of the facility. Northern States Power Company is encouraged to attend this meeting.
