TRANSMITTAL OF REVISED REGULATORY GUIDE 5.69 The revision of Regulatory Guide (RG) 5.69 is being transmitted to the Reactor Security Rulemaking and Licensing Branch for processing. The revised guide may be found within the NRC Safeguards Local Area Network Electronic Safe (SLES) in the collaboration room within the Reactor Security Rulemaking and Licensing Branch folder. The enclosed draft technical basis for typical swimmer characteristics is also being forwarded.
The revised RG 5.69 was drafted by staff within the Fuel Cycle and Transportation Security Branch. Please forward technical issues concerning the revised text to the Branch for resolution.
Note that the revised RG 5.69 contains safeguards information (SGI) and the draft technical basis for typical swimmer characteristics is official use only (OUO) due to it being a draft (pre-decisional) document.
