Annual Report of Changes in Emergency Core Cooling System Models for Large and Small Break LOCA Palisades Nuclear Plant Docket 50-255 License No. DPR-20

Dear Sir or Madam:

Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) is submitting this annual report of changes in the emergency core cooling system (ECCS) models for the Palisades Nuclear Plant (PNP). The report is submitted in accordance with 10 CFR 50.46(a)(3)(ii).

Areva Condition Report (CR) 2009-2309 was written to address issues related to S-RELAP5 code errors. These issues impacted the large break loss of coolant accident (LOCA) analyses for Cycle 21. Idaho National Laboratory (INL) announced that the errors involved coding of point kinetics and heat conduction models.

Corrections provided by I were installed S-RELAP5. The estimated change based large break is -22 degrees Fahrenheit. contains the large break LOCA peak clad temperature (PCT) summary. contains the small break LOCA PCT summary. There are no changes to the small break LOCA since the 2009 30-day report. This report covers the period from May 20, 2009, through May 20, 2010.

This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments.
