PUBLIC MEETING/OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS NRC ACTIVITIES, NUCLEAR POWER ISSUES, AND 2009 END-OF-CYCLE PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT FOR D. C. COOK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Dear Mr. Weber:
This letter is to inform you that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house at 6:00 p.m. EST on May 25, 2010, at the Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library in St. Joseph, MI. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum for the Agency to discuss NRC activities and nuclear power issues with the public.
In addition, members of the NRC will be available to discuss the assessment of D. C. Cook station performance. American Electric Power is encouraged to attend this meeting.
