U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Desk Washington, D.C. 20555-0001 Duane Arnold Energy Center Docket 50-331 License No. DPR-49 Duane Arnold Enerqy Center Security Plan Changes Revision 8 and 9 In accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 10, Part 50.54(p)(2),
NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC, hereby submits Revision 8 and Revision 9 of the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC) Security Plan. These Revisions incorporate changes required due to recent 10 CFR Part 73 changes as well as other minor changes. It has been determined the changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the DAEC Security Plan and therefore the changes have been made pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(p)(2). The enclosed -C-ontains Change Synopses for Revision 8 and 9 of the Security Plan as well as copies of Revision 8 and 9 of the Plan. The-GIlso includes an underlined version of Revision 9 of the Plan indicating differences from NEI 03-12 Revision 6, "Template for the Security Plan, Training and Qualification Plan, Safeguards Contingency Plan, [and Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Security Program]."
