Review of Utah RAI Response Extension Request dated April 21, 2010 Tatjana, We received your letter dated April 21 (ADAMS Accession Number: ML101180376), requesting another 60 days to complete the technical RAIs. We reviewed and agreed with this extension request because: it is your first request; there were a large number of complex RAIs requested; and, more notably, the University of Utah has demonstrated progress in completing the RAI responses, and maintained good communication with the me on the status of your RAI response efforts.
We would like to establish May 25 as milestone to receive the draft RAI responses, with June 22 being the end of the 60 day extension. If they can be competed earlier, that would be even better. Feel free to scan the draft RAI response document and email to me. Also, please ensure any proprietary, or security related information is marked in accordance with 10CFR2.390, as the draft RAI responses will be placed into our public document system (ADAMS). We will review the draft RAI responses and, based on the information provided and additional information needed, we will discuss these responses with your and your staff on a telephone conference or in a trip to Utah, as necessary.
