- Leigh, Although both forms are used in 10 CFR, based on a conversation with our subject matter expert in Region I
am revising the document to consistently use "millirem" as the plural.
I will send the response to the PA SLO (Dave Allard) after making the revision.

The Chairman's office did not have any other comments on the write-up and appreciates the staffs coordination of this response.
of NOTE: Please resolve the "millirem" versus "millirems" question. There are still disagreements, and more folks believe that the convention for the plural form is without the "s."
