NRC staff will be available to brief the media at 2 o'clock this afternoon (November 22) at the Three Mile Island Training Center on yesterday's contamination incident at the plant. The TMI Training Center is located on Rt. 441, directly across from the plant about three miles south of Middletown, Pa. The briefing will be held in the parking lot.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has sent a radiation specialist and a regional manager to the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant, to follow-up on yesterday's incident. They'll provide a brief statement on NRC activities related to this incident and respond to questions.
