SUBJECT:
ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON REACTOR SAFEGUARDS REVIEW OF THE KEWAUNEE POWER STATION, LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION - SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT The license renewal staff and technical branches have completed their review of the Dominion Energy Kewaunee, Inc. (DEK or the applicant), Kewaunee Power Station (KPS), license renewal application (LRA) and have issued the Safety Evaluation Report With Open Items Related to the License Renewal of the Kewaunee Power Station. We request that the Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) review the staff safety evaluation for the DEK LRA.
The DEK LRA is currently scheduled for review by the ACRS Subcommittee on August 18, 2010. The required copies of the pertinent documents have already been delivered to the ACRS.
