Davis-Besse UCS 2.206 Petition Status
Dear Mr. Lochbaum,
I wanted to inform you of the status of the April 5, 2010 UCS request pursuant to 10 CFR 2.206 regarding Davis-Besse. The Petition Review Board (PRB) met last week to make an initial recommendation regarding the UCS request as a 2.206 petition. The PRB determined that additional coordination with Region III staff (including the special inspection team) is needed before it makes an intitial recommendation. The PRB will reconvene after the necessary coordination is complete, to make its initial recommendation. We will inform you of these results according to our 2.206 process. If you would like to discuss further via a conference call please let me know your availability.
