Requested Significance Determination Documents for Brown Ferry Nuclear Plant's Fire Protection Program In a public meeting conducted on February 22, 2010, between Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and the NRC, discussions were held regarding three preliminary Greater than Green findings involving the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant (BFN) Fire Protection Program.

In that meeting, TVA committed to provide additional technical information to the NRC for their review.

Subsequent to the February 22, 2010, meeting, the additional technical information documents relating to the significance determination process evaluations conducted by TVA were provided to the NRC. On March 30, 2010, in a telephone call among Rebecca Nease (NRC), McKenzie Thomas (NRC) and James Emens (TVA), the NRC representatives requested that TVA submit selected documents.

That documents requested include:

(1) Analysis of the Operator Safe Shutdown Instruction (SSI) Entry for BFN Fire Significance Determination Process (SDP),

(2) Fire SDP Scenario Sheets, (3) Fire SDP Binning, and (4) Apparent Violation (AV) 3 Appendix M Significance Determination Process Using Qualitative Criteria.
