Comments to Quad Cities Exam Outline Submittal
- 1.
RO Admin JPM - Equipment Control: Review a tagout is for the CRD system?
RE: Not a system that had been tested by NRC in the past 2 NRC exams.
- 2.
SRO Admin JPM - Conduct of Ops: Shift Staffing. Will you be using the new Fatigue Rule requirements? RE: Yes will adhere to new Fatigue Rule requirements for this JPM.
- 3.
SRO Admin JPM - Emergency Preparedness: Will this JPM include classify and notify? RE: Classify and fill out NARS form, no notification.
- 4.
Written Exam - Previously requested the licensee to add the safe shutdown makeup pump to BWR Exam outline Form ES 401-1 due to its site-specific risk significance. RE: Licensee added SSMP to Tier 2/Group 1 for random selection.
- 5.
Scenario #4: There are no Technical Specifications for SRO. RE: Due to crew alignment and makeup, this was considered acceptable since all SRO applicants would have the necessary 2 (minimum) Technical Specifications from other scenarios.
