Dear Mr. Costanzo:
This letter is to inform you that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will conduct a Category 3 public meeting/open house on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 5:00 p.m. (CDT) at the Hiawatha Community Center in Hiawatha, IA. The purpose of this meeting is to provide an open public forum to discuss the Agencys annual assessment of Duane Arnold Energy Center. The NRC will be available to answer questions from the public regarding plant performance, as well as the Agencys oversight of the facility. FPL Energy Duane Arnold is encouraged to attend this meeting.
