RHODE ISLAND ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION - WITHDRAWAL OF AMENDMENT REQUEST TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSE NO. R-95 (TAC NO. ME 3140)
Dear Dr. Tehan:
By letter dated February 17, 2010, the Rhode Island Atomic Energy Commission applied to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for an amendment to Facility Operating License No. R-95 for the Rhode Island Nuclear Science Center reactor. The requested amendment to the technical specifications involved the qualification requirements of the Radiation Safety Officer. During our telephone conversation on April 7, 2010, you requested the application for the amendment be withdrawn. Unless you notify the NRC that this information is incorrect within 15 business days of the date of this letter, the NRC will consider the application to be withdrawn and close the amendment request.
