PUBLIC MEETING TO DISCUSS THE 2009 END-OF-CYCLE PLANT PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT FOR FERMI POWER PLANT UNIT 2

Dear Mr. Davis:

This letter confirms our plans to conduct a meeting with Detroit Edison Company and the Fermi Power Plant management. The purpose of the meeting is for the NRC to present the End-of-Cycle assessment results. The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. (EDT), at the Monroe County Board of Commissioners Chambers, County Courthouse, 125 East Second Street, Monroe, MI 48161. This meeting is open to the public.

The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
