RE: Meeting with Sam and Marc John / Ron / Diane, During the winter seminar briefing to Sam Collins yesterday, Sam suggested that we add the recent TMI radioactivity issue to the DRP/DRS breakout session on Tuesday to fill the void left by a presentation that we have decided to do at a later date. We have about 20-30 minutes available during that breakout session (from 1-2pm). Pete suggested that John and Ron take 15 minutes to discuss the issue (the background, the event, the causes, the effects, etc) and then Diane take 5-10 minutes to discuss the public affairs side of the issue (how it was handled...).
Please let me know if this works for you. I will drop by your offices this morning to discuss.

Meeting with Sam and Marc
- Justin, The meeting with Sam and Marc went well. A couple of points:
- 1) Sam left the decision of the SLES presentation to us. Please work with Pete on this. Sam suggested the TMI radioactivity issue as a possible interesting topic as well. John White/Ron Nimitz would be the contact.
- 2) Once this is settled we need to send an email ASAP to all Region I with the agenda attached.
- 3) FYI, Sam will use a couple of minutes each morning during the administrative remarks to discuss the safety mission (such as plant status).
