Action Required: SGT Work Release Document/Template Importance: High Please disseminate to Exelon, SGT, Shaw and others working on RB primary systems. (Sheri Fields and Mel Kulp - Please get this information out as soon as possible to your folks)

The following work release document shall be used when working in the RB where primary systems are opened or welding/grinding on primary system piping/components. This information is also displayed on the OCC issues board.

At a minimum the following criteria shall be followed:

1). Walkdown and inventory all vacuums and blowers used for engineering controls (for both operability and function) 2). Review and revision of job packages for Alara Plans/RWPs 3). TeIt vacuum and Hepa unitowesupply before and during use 4). Communicate (to RP and craft) responsibilities on using vacuums and blowers for jobs 5). Apply better controls on the purge exhaust fans - EST tags to manage starting and stopping fans, protect the exhaust fans.

6). Direct RP to check air flows and take air samples at the equip and construction opening. Define a standard time frame for taking the samples And create a standing order to take the air samples and flow data when purge lineup changes occur Additionally, the OCC shall be notified (included in the example checklist below) to ensure appropriate notifications to station management can be performed.
