Dear Sir or Madam:
in Reference 1, Nuclear Management Company, LLC, (NMC) the former license holder for Palisades Nuclear Plant, made a commitment to submit by March 24, 2009, a revised aging management program for the reactor vessel internals that incorporated industry initiatives and guidance. In order to provide time for development of an aging management program that would include Electric Power Research Institute Material Reliability Program guidelines, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) submitted Reference 2 to change the previous NMC commitment submittal date to March 24, 2010. The attachment to this letter WCAP-1 7133-NP [Non-Proprietary], "PWR
[Pressurized Water Reactor] Vessel Internals Program Plan for Aging Management of Reactor Internals at Palisades Nuclear Plant," Revision 0, dated November 2009, completes the commitment action.
Summary of Commitments This letter contains-no new or revised commitments. The following commitment contained in Reference 2 is complete:
