OF PUBLIC MEETINGS RELATED TO THE REVIEW OF THE DIABLO CANYON NUCLEAR POWER PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff conducted two public meetings related to the review of the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant, Units 1 and 2, license renewal application submitted by Pacific Gas & Electric. The meetings were conducted on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, at the Embassy Suites, San Luis Obispo, CA. Approximately 60 to 70 people attended each meeting. Questions focused on seismic issues, spent fuel storage, long-term high level waste management, and the scope of the license renewal review.
A listing of attendees for both public meetings is provided in Enclosure 1. Copies of the agenda and the presentation slides used during the meetings are included in Enclosures 2 and 3, respectively.
