Subject:
Reactor Vessel Surveillance Capsule "N" Results, dated May 29, 2009.
On May 29, 2009 R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant, LLC (Ginna LLC) submitted a report that presented the test results from Capsule "N", the 5th surveillance capsule removed from the reactor vessel (Reference 1). Within the referenced letter, Ginna LLC also committed to submit an updated Pressure Temperature Limits Report (PTLR) incorporating the Capsule "N" test results by February 19, 2010.
In order to provide more time for the vendor to complete the associated analysis to support the PTLR revision, update procedures, and to provide the site training, Ginna LLC is revising our commitment date to October 1, 2010 for the submittal of the revised PTLR. Attachment 1 provides the revised regulatory commitment made in this letter.
