Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations -
NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2009-11 This letter requests changes to the dates for scheduled examinations to those in the enclosed NRC Form 536, Operator Licensing Examination Data.
The exam date changes are requested because a corporate initiative has been implemented that revises our Initial License Training (ILT) program to improve station throughput performance.
The additional program requirements extend the ILT classes and impact the previously scheduled exam dates.
The requested date changes will allow us to implement these changes and improve our applicants' performance on license exams.
The revised dates were coordinated with Phillip Capehart of your staff.
