Steam Generator Inspection, Repair and Restoration Program Pursuant to an NRC request made at a Con Edison/NRC meeting on March 14, 1990 we are submitting an interim report covering our steam generator related efforts during the 1990 mid-cycle outage.

Enclosed are;

1. 5 copies of WCAP-12573, "Indian Point Unit 2 Steam Generator Inspection, Repair and Restoration Program, May, 1990"1 (Proprietary).
2. 5 copies of WCAP-12574, Revision 0, "Indian Point Unit 2 Steam Generator Inspection, Repair and Restoration Program, May, 1990"1 (Non-proprietary).

Also enclosed is a Westinghouse authorization letter, Proprietary Information Notice, and accompanying Affidavit.

CAV-90.-0391 As item 1 contains information proprietary to Westinghouse Electric Corporation, it is supported by an affidavit signed by Westinghouse, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b)(4) of Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.

Accordingly, It is respectfully requested that the information which is proprietary to Westinghouse be withheld from public disclosure In accordance with 10 CFR Section 2.790 of the Commnission's regulations.

Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the Application for Withholding or the supporting Westinghouse Affidavit should reference CAW-90-039 and should be addressed to R.A. Wiesemann, Manager of Regulatory
