12/12/2010 Response to Public Comments on Draft Regulatory Guide DG-2001 Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Research and Test Reactors A notice that Draft Regulatory Guide DG-2001 was available for public comment was published in the Federal Register on September 15, 2009 on page 74 FR 47280. The comment period ended November 13, 2009. A comment was received from the stakeholder listed below.

Butler Not specified This letter is sent in response to the solicitation of comments that was printed in the Federal Register, Volume 74, No.
177, September 15, 2009. The University of Missouri Research Reactor supports the revision of Regulatory Guide 2.5 (May 1977) and recommends that the NRC continue to endorse the ANSI/ANS 15.8-1995; reaffirmed 2005 document "Quality Assurance Program Requirements for Research Reactors" as the basis for the revision.
Staff agrees. The revision to the Regulatory Guide, simply brings the guide up to current status with the updated standard.
