REGULATORY CONFERENCE FOR A PRELIMINARY YELLOW FINDING REGARDING BRAIDWOOD STATION, UNIT 1
Dear Mr. Pardee:
On November 30, 2009, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) transmitted NRC Inspection Report 05000456/2009007 regarding a preliminary Yellow Finding at the Braidwood Station (ADAMS Accession Number ML0933405630). Subsequent to that letter, your staff requested a Regulatory Conference to present to the NRC your perspective on the facts and assumptions the NRC used to arrive at the finding and assess its significance.
This letter confirms the discussion between members of our staffs to hold the Regulatory Conference at our Region III Office in Lisle, Illinois, on Wednesday, January 6, 2010, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. [CST]. The meeting will be open for public observation, and we request that you submit supporting documentation for your analyses at least 1 week prior to the conference in an effort to make the conference more efficient and effective. In addition, we request that you submit any presentation slides for the meeting 48 hours5.555556e-4 days <br />0.0133 hours <br />7.936508e-5 weeks <br />1.8264e-5 months <br /> in advance to support members of the public requesting a reasonable accommodation or participating from a remote location.
