4 or more inspection findings with the same cause in 1 year Does the NRC have a concern in the actions taken to address the issue

Substantive Cross-Cutting Issue at Prairie Island For the 2009 Mid-Year Assessment, the NRC identified an SCCI in Human Performance Systematic Conservative Procedural Procedural Process Assumption Accuracy Compliance H.1(a) H.1(b) H.2(c) H.4(b)

What is the NRC doing?

Additional meetings with the licensee Focus inspections in the area of Human Performance Assessment during the next End-of-Year assessment

Closure of SCCI The cross-cutting issues will be cleared when the NRC is satisfied that the licensee has demonstrated sustainable improvement in the area of Human Performance and the NRC will consider the number of findings in each theme.
