As previously discussed over the telephone, the agenda for the conference call on Friday; Nov 13, 2009 will only include the discussion points generated by your Staff to address the primary side inspection results and general secondary side activities. Due to the secondary side Batwing inspection results not being complete, specifically, the bottom-up inspection for SG 31 and the FOSAR for both SGs, the discuss on the secondary side batwing inspection findings needs to be rescheduled. In addition, discovery of a broken off vent line on SG 31 feedring between the elbow tee assembly and the feed ring distribution box has prompted extent of condition actions that have also delayed the completion of the bottom up examinations and the FOSARs.

As a result of these emergent issues, Waterford 3 is requesting the conference call on the Secondary side Batwing inspection be rescheduled to Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009. This time will allow Waterford 3 engineering to complete the bottom-up inspection on SG 31, the FOSARs for both SGs, and acquire additional information on the extent of condition for the feedring and potential corrective actions to follow.

We can discuss a time for the Tuesday secondary side call either tomorrow or Monday.

Due to previous problems with outlook not effectively updating attendee's calendar, please check your calendars to confirm the meeting update deletes the call on 11/12/09 and reschedules the call for Friday, 11/13/09.

A meeting agenda along with information to support the secondary side inspection and the responses to the NRC mid-RF outage primary side questions is expected to be distributed no later than 10:00 AM on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009.
