Attachments: MRP169 RAI OWOL 7-30-09 REv 1.doc Good morning Mike, The technical leads for Topical Report MRP-169 have two additional questions (attached file) for NEI to address.
I've been asked to forward these on to you by email. A formal request for additional information will be submitted to NEI in a few weeks.
The NRC staff anticipates that NEI may want a conference call to discuss the attached questions before responding formally, due to the complexity of the questions. The earliest that NRC staff could support a conference call is the week of 8/31/09 or later. Please provide me with feedback regarding the need for a conference call and a proposed date/time before I issue these RAIs formally.
I was also made aware that MRP-169 will be a topic of discussion during a 3 day conference next week (8/5/09-8/7/09) in the Legacy Hotel, Rockville. This discussion is scheduled on Thursday, 8/6/09, from 10:30 to 11:00am. The NRR technical leads believe that this forum may also provide an opportunity for the attached questions to be discussed during the conference (informally).
The meeting notice and agenda is in ADAMS and on the NRC public website (ML091960198).
