Dear Mr. Anderson:
Enclosed is a compact disk (CD) containing the most current revision of the MELCOR input deck for the Surry Power Station. This input deck was used by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and Sandia National Laboratory (SNL) to complete the technical analysis portion of the State-of-the-Art Reactor Consequence Analysis (SOARCA) project. This input deck is being provided to you in response to your request.
The initial technical analysis has been completed for the SOARCA project and the results are currently being reviewed by a panel of independent peer reviewers. The peer reviewer comments will be addressed and a confidence analysis will be initiated before the detailed results are issued for internal concurrence and external review. The NRC SOARCA website will be updated periodically to provide additional status information on the project.
The files on this CD may contain information that Surry Power Station considers proprietary or not for public disclosure and should be treated as such.
