Surry Power Station, requested transmittal of operating tests and supporting reference materials to support initial senior reactor operator test scheduled for the week of July 20, 2009.

This letter is to inform you that the operating test and supporting reference materials, identified in NUREG-1021, were transmitted electronically to and received by Mr. Mark Bates, NRC Chief Examiner, on July 9,2009.

In addition, the following supporting documents were included in this transmittal:

Form ES-201-2, Exam Outline Quality Checklist Form ES-201-3, Examination Security Agreement, Form ES-301-1, Administrative Topics Outline, Form ES-301-2, Control Roomlln-Plant Systems Outline, Form ES-301-3, Operating Test Quality Checklist, Form ES-301-4, Simulator Scenario Quality Checklist, Form ES-301-5, Transient and Event Checklist, and Form ES-301-6, Competencies Checklist.

This letter is to inform you that the Initial License Operator Examination supporting reference materials, identified in NUREG-1021, were transmitted to Mr. Mark Bates, NRC Chief Examiner, on February 3, 2009 and received on February 5, 2009.

On April 15,2009, in accordance with NUREG-1021, the operating test outlines were submitted to the Surry NRC Resident Inspectors at the chief examiner's direction. Also, Forms ES-201-2, ES-201-3, ES-301-1, ES-301-2, ES-301-5 and ES-D-1's were submitted with the operating test outlines. We request that the materials submitted to the NRC be withheld from public disclosure until after the operator examinations have been administered.
